Shutdown the server

Only accessible when connected, the «Server management>Shutdown the server» allows a DBA to do a remote stop of the current MySQL® server.

Warning, it is possible to shutdown a MySQL® server from a WinMySQL Professional station, but it is impossible to re-start a MySQL® server from a WinMySQL Professional station. In a such case, you only can connect to server with in a telnet session and proceed a manual startup with «mysql.server start» or «safe_mysqld &» line command.
