Using WinMySQL Professional

Print output

Only accessible when connected, this feature allows to create on printer a real basic report (with header, body, column headers, footer, page number ...) with the output grid content. So, it is very easy to submit a query or to open a table and directly make a report with it.

Required actions before printing

You may print directly without any setup but the normal synopsis is to select printer, printing orientation and paper layout. To do, use the «File>Printer setup » submenu.

The printer driver may offer to you various paper layouts but WinMySQL Professional recognizes only the «US letter» and the «A4» with any orientation. If you select another layout, WinMySQL Professional will assume it is a «US letter».

WinMySQL Professional includes a printing preview, by default, it displays ; you can toggle it «off» (or «on» if it is disabled) using the «Output grid>Print preview enabled» submenu.

As the print preview, WinMySQL Professional can insert a printer setup just before printing. By default this feature is «off». You may toggle it «on» (or «off» if it is enabled) using the «Output grid>Print setup enabled» submenu.

You also may want a custom title for the report ; to force WinMySQL Professional to ask a custom title before printing, just check (or uncheck if you don't want) the «Output grid>Custom report title» clicking on it.

Launching printing

To launch printing, invoke the «Output grid>Print output» submenu or use the «Ctrl-I» shortcut.

If your orientation selection cannot hold the output grid, WinMySQL Professional notify it by a warning. You can force to print anyway.
