Using WinMySQL Professional

MySQL® server infos

Only accessible when connected, the «Server administration>MySQL server infos» submenu, allows any user to know the following informations on the current connection and MySQL® server :

• MySQL® server : it is the machine hosting the MySQL® server on which you are currently connected.

• Active user : it is the MySQL® user currently connected from WinMySQL Professional.

• Active database : it is the current target database.

• Server version : it is the release number of the MySQL® server on which you are currently connected.

• Server access .: it is the way used by WinMySQL Professional to access to the current server.

• Communication port : it is the TCP listening port used by the current MySQL® server.

• Connection ID : it is your connection thread ID on the current MySQL® server.

• Protocol version : it is protocol release number currently used to obtain a dialog between current MySQL® server and WinMySQL Professional. If it different of 10, you may have problems.

To obtain these informations, just click on the «Server administration>MySQL server infos» submenu, otherwise, you may use the «Ctrl-Y» shortcut.
