Connect/Disconnect

This menu is enabled when you have been successfully connected one time at least in a WinMySQL Professionnal session.

When a connection is active (activity led is green), the title of this menu toggles to «Disconnect» : if you invoke this menu, you disconnect immediately and the output grid becomes empty. Then, no database or table will be active anymore, so many menus will be disabled.

At the opposite, if this menu is enabled and no connection is active (activity led is red), the title of this menu toggles to «Connect» : if you invoke this menu, you will connect with the last connection profile used. This feature is useful to reconnect when the server closes connections after an idle time or when connections are killed by your DBA.

This menu can be invoked by the shortcut «F2».
